They remain detached and serene. |

奈何万乘之主，

Why should a ruler of ten thousand chariots |

而以身轻天下？

act frivolously in the world? |

轻则失根，
|
Lightness leads to losing one’s root, |
|
躁则失君。
|
restlessness leads to losing one’s control. |
