有仁义；

Benevolence and righteousness arise. |

智慧出，
|
When wisdom and intellect emerge, |
|
有大伪；
|
Hypocrisy follows in great measure. |
|
六亲不和，
|
In a family lacking harmony, |
|
有孝慈；
|
Filial duty and kindness appear. |
|
国家昏乱，
|
When the nation falls into confusion and disorder, |
|
有忠臣。
|
Loyal ministers are found. |
